Man found dead at US/Canada Tunnel identified

Sarnia Police have figured out the name of the man found dead near the US/Canada Tunnel in the CN Rail yard, but officials aren’t releasing his name yet.

Yesterday afternoon, the body of a 25 to 30 year old man was found near the rail tunnel and police were looking for the public’s help to identify the white, 6 foot tall man of medium height with blonde hair and blue eyes. Police say the man has now been positively identified – but they’re not revealing his name until his family has been notified of his death.

Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team members searched the rail yard earlier today, hoping to find items which might lead them to the man’s identity.

Police hope to find out how the man died when an autopsy is done in London tomorrow.
