Cold weather moves in
The temperature in Sarnia-Lambton did a 360 with the mercury plummeting in the span of a day.
In the early morning hours Tuesday the temperature at Chris Hadfield Airport in Sarnia was 6 C but by Wednesday at 11 pm the temperature had plunged to -7 C. In the early morning hours, some of the recent snowfall melted, causing minor ice jams, like this one at the Passingham Drain on Oil Heritage Road north of Egermont Road.
There are snow flurries across the region but they should end by the morning. The temperature should stay around -7 C Wednesday and dip to -12 by tonight.
