Man died near US/Canada Tunnel of exposure
Sarnia Police say the man who was found dead near the US/Canada Rail Tunnel likely died of hypothermia.
On Monday, the body of a man was found on the CN Rail yard near the tunnel. Police sought the public’s help to identify him and searched the are for clues to who he was and how he died.
Police now say the man, 18 year old Damien Walls of Sarnia, left a house party while not being properly dressed for the cold weather. It’s believed he had been consuming alcohol before he died. An autopsy showed he likely died of hypothermia after being exposed to the elements.
