UPDATED: Three Sarnia bouncers stabbed during closing
An 18-year-old is facing charges after three security people at the Lazy Duck were stabbed in an altercation at closing time.
Sarnia Police say early Sunday morning people inside the bar were arguing while security was taking people out to Capel Street around 3:30 am. While this was going on, a man stabbed the three security guards and then fled the scene. The security team members, ages 27, 28, and 34, were taken to hospital for treatment. Each person had multiple stab wounds which needed staples to close the wounds.
Police have recovered the knife they believe was used in the stabbing and arrested a man who now faces including assault, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous to the public and assault with the intent to resist arrest.
Adrien MacMillian was released by police promising to appear in court April 23 to answer to the charges.
