The Lambton Young Theatre Players is ready to hit the boards with their third major production The Fairy Godmother.

Writen by LYTP artistic director Nancy Keys, the farce is “comic adventure where an unhappy princess, a poor cobbler boy, one too many Red Riding Hoods, and a silly King and Queen search for the perfect Fairy Godmother to make all their dreams come true.”

Twenty-five young actors from across Lambton County have been preparing for the public performances for months. Nearly 1,000 school children will take in the play starting Wednesday at the Sarnia Public Library Theater and public performances are Friday at 7 pm and Saturday at 2 pm and 7 pm.

Tickets are $8 for youth under 18 and $12 for adults and are available at the door or at the Cheeky Monkey in Downtown Sarnia.
